Řetěz zdvihu duplex - LT40

The up/down chain connects the sawhead movement mechanism with the drive motor. A double chain, designed for the best performance and durability in LT40 sawmills. The chain needs to be properly maintained in order to guarantee the correct parameters of work:

• Clean it with compressed air regularly in order to get rid of the sawdust and wood chips that stick to it during cutting.
• Apply graphite grease regularly in order to improve its flexibility during the operation and provide anti-stick surface against the sawdust. Do not use low-quality lubricants, as they don’t guarantee as good qualities as graphite grease (sawdust will stick more often to common lubricants).
• Check the tension of the chain systematically and adjust if it gets loose. Do not overtighten the chain either, as it poses a serious risk of breakage. If the chain can’t be adjusted correctly any more (it’s too worn out), replace it for a new one.
• Check the connecting link regularly and replace the whole chain if the link is damaged or defective.
